The Tattoo at Oosterbeek is already more than 30 years an event, which has not brought in to make calculations in all annual commemorations in Oosterbeek. The veterans and may family are present at the tattoo. Beside the Airborne March, this Tattoo is the largest event of the municipality Renkum. The Tattoo has been set up in 1975, without someone shortage, doing Jan van Eck, Cees Spijkers and Mr. B. Beekman. Also Jan Westerhof have performed from beginning to a lot of activities for the Tattoo.

In the past there were preceding of the Tattoo streetparade. Since the Tattoo of 2004 these have been no longer. This excursion went straight through the centre of Oosterbeek and finished on the tattoofield. Every year has the organisation a successful programme, with good corps, to compose and knows one the public weather to amuse. It is also fantastic know that Tattoo Oosterbeek draws every year witnesses from the complete Netherlands, and they belongs to the top 20 in the election of Tattoo of the year.
